Once they've found all of them, they can enter to win a 2-night ski holiday for their family next season by snapping a photo of them wearing all five bracelets and sharing it on social media with the hashtag #TreetopsMichigan.

    • Fat Tire Biking. What Is Fat Tire Biking and How Does It Work? Fat tire bikes, often known as fatbikes, have tires and wheels that are larger than typical, resulting in lower ground pressure and higher traction on slick terrain. Fat tire bicycling is an all-season pastime that may be enjoyed on a variety of surfaces, including snow, slush, sand, and mud.

In Michigan, you can try fat tire biking. Throughout the year, Treetops Resort provides fat tire biking and fat tire bike rentals. Our trail system is open to visitors in the spring, summer, and throughout the beautiful autumn color show. But fat tire bicycling in the winter is a genuinely unique experience—nothing there's quite like flying over snow-covered paths while soaking in the pristine beauty of a great northern Michigan winter day.

There is no need to make a reservation for this activity. Fat tire bikes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and must be returned to the Jones Activity Center by 5 p.m. Load up your fatbikes and bring them with you to explore our 15-kilometer trail system.
