Dunes Golf Club Community Highlights
Dunes Golf Club was developed in 1982 and debuted as a 3152 yard 9 hole course the following spring.
The building of Back Nine began in the fall of 1989. It first opened its doors in the fall of 1991.
The back nine, despite being shorter at 2578 yards, is nonetheless more difficult for most golfers because of the tight tree-lined fairways.
The Most Difficult Holes
The course's most difficult holes are the back-to-back 12th and 13th.
Water is found on the right side of the fairway and in front of the green on the 12th Hole, a 530-yard par five.
In the back of the green, there's also a swampy region.
The 13th Hole is the first handicap hole on the course. It's a par four with a length of 455 yards. To set up a strong approach shot to the green, you'll need a 260-yard drive.
Because the right side is highly wooded, golfers must stay left to have a chance at par.
