Interlochen golf course Homes for Sale
The Interlochen Golf Club, which has 18 holes, first opened its doors in 1965. This semi-private course, designed by Hubert Morris, spans 6415 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 130 and a USGA rating of 70.5.
The Hagan Area, named after the dashing professional golfer Walter Hagan, is the club's dining room. After retiring to Traverse City, Hagan won eleven professional majors and became a mainstay at the club.
Brad Dean bought the course in 2016 and made it his own. Dean, a 23-year Director of Golf at Crystal Mountain Resort and an award-winning Michigan PGA golf professional, is penning the next chapter of the course.
The golf experience has been enhanced thanks to improvements to the course conditions and aesthetic modifications overseen by Golf Superintendent Jim Harris.
Bradley's Pub & Grille, a four-season restaurant with a smokehouse menu and entertainment, is housed in the original building, which was completed in 1964.

At Interlochen, accuracy in shotmaking and course management is essential.
The silky greens and lush fairways of Interlochen, a mature course, are carefully managed to ensure that the challenge is always fair. Golfers will also be exposed to the abundant wildlife of Northern Michigan. White-tailed deer, wild turkeys, and a flock of wild Canadian geese are typical sightings. A tranquil Betsie River tributary winds its way through the course, offering its own watery touch of beauty and charm.
The Most Difficult Holes
The course's most difficult holes are the back-to-back 12th and 13th. Water is found on the right side of the fairway and in front of the green on the 12th Hole, a 530-yard par five. In the back of the green, there's also a swampy region. The 13th Hole is the first handicap hole on the course. It's a par four with a length of 455 yards. To set up a strong approach shot to the green, you'll need a 260-yard drive. Because the right side is highly wooded, golfers must stay left to have a chance at par.

Bradley's Pub & Grill
Bradley's Pub & Grill is open all year for lunch and dinner. The menu includes a wide variety of smoked and BBQ delicacies, as well as regional cuisine. While sitting just feet from the course, enjoy the complete bar, local beers, and creative cocktails. Throughout the season, there will be entertainment and live music.
